Emily Nobel Maxwell

Emi­ly Nobel Maxwell is the Direc­tor of The Nature Conservancy’s NYC Pro­gram. Pri­or to join­ing the Con­ser­van­cy, Emi­ly was Asso­ciate Direc­tor of the Nation­al Wildlife Federation’s North­east Region, where she led NWF’s school sus­tain­abil­i­ty pro­grams in New York and New Jer­sey. Pre­vi­ous­ly, Emi­ly was a pro­gram direc­tor at Part­ner­ships for Parks; coor­di­na­tor of a com­mu­ni­ty green­ing in Philadel­phia; adjunct fac­ul­ty in Les­ley University’s Urban Envi­ron­men­tal Lead­er­ship Pro­gram; and founder of the More Gar­dens! Coali­tion. She holds a BA in Urban Stud­ies from the New School and a MS in Nat­ur­al Resource Pol­i­cy with spe­cial­iza­tion in Envi­ron­men­tal Jus­tice from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Michi­gan.
